Larry Lopez

Prior to moving to Perth in 2006, he spent 17 years at Silicon Valley Bank, a publicly traded US financial services company specialising in technology finance. During his tenure at SVB he was the founder of the Bank’s international venture capital practice and responsible for the Bank’s activities in Europe, Israel and Australia.

Charlie Gunningham

Originally from the UK, Charlie lived and worked in Singapore for 8 years before arriving in Perth to do an MBA at UWA in 1997. Graduating top of the Business School, in 1999 he cofounded aussiehome.com, an online real estate business which pioneered interactive mapping on the web. The company won various IT and Business Awards and in 2003 he was a 40under40 winner.

Charlie sold aussiehome.com to REIWA in 2010, and continued working there until earlier this year, when he took up an exciting role at GM of Digital at Business News.

Sheryl Frame

Sheryl has worked in diverse public and private sector business and industry, including resources, healthcare, biometrics and IT. She maintains positions on the Executive Board of Australian Women in IT, Science and Engineering (AWISE), as Vice President since 2008, and as Secretary of Women in Technology WA (WITWA) since 2006.

Sheryl began her career studying physiotherapy at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa but moved quickly into the technology sector, initially with a start-up software company, and later with IBM where she had varied roles – initially on the technical side as a systems engineer and programmer, and later in sales, marketing and management.

Having started her professional life as a veterinarian Claire joined MedicAnimal as the company's vet and employee #5, eventually leading MedicAnimal's marketing and product effort through an institutional fundraising round and a competitor acquisition.

Since returning to Perth, Claire has worked as a digital marketing and ecommerce consultant for businesses ranging from startup to enterprise. Jeremy Lu

Jeremy is a man who wears many hats. As co-founder of GroupMap, he has developed an online application which promotes collaboration and consensus building in large group settings, predominantly in education, work team meetings, conferences and corporate workshops.

As an educator, he teaches aspiring business leaders and entrepreneurs at Curtin University, using real case studies, interactive learning and interviews with Entrepreneurs in Perth.
